Throughout the school year, the band will be doing all it can to prepare for the upcoming Jaguar Classic, the football season, the marching band competitions, fruit sales, and whatever else we can do to raise money to support band activities. Gaston County allots very little in terms of financial support each year for fine art programs - which includes band. Everything the band does (including getting to and from events), costs money. That's why we ask for volunteers!

The Forestview Band is part of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) of Forestview High School,
a 501(c)(3), charitable, non-profit organization.
