Forestview High School hosted it's very first Jaguar Classic on a very rainy Saturday. The students, directors, and spectators braved the elements and were treated to some excellent music and marching by the participating schools. We'd like to extend our heartiest Thank You to all the schools, parents, students, directors, spectators, and especially our volunteers and sponsors that made this event a reality.

We're Sorry

Several of the Trophies presented to the schools at the awards ceremonies were sponsored by area businesses as well as parents. Their sponsorship allowed us to purchase larger trophies than we otherwise could have budgeted for. Due to technical difficulties, the sponsorship information was not available to our competition announcer during the awards ceremony, so those sponsors were not properly recognized. A handful of the trophy sponsorships were remembered by our volunteers but rather than offend the sponsors by only mentioning some that we could remember, (or potentionaly associating a trophy with the wrong sponsor), a last minute decision was made to not mention any sponsors.

We sincerely regret this issue and have made a point to post the sponsorship information on our RESULTSpage. If you are a trophy sponsor, and this is not to your satisfaction, please contact us and we will make amends. Thank you for your understanding.

Tammy Stancell was on hand for part of the competition to capture some action shots of the bands during their performances. We've provided a link above to the site. We'll post more information once it's available. Also, if you took photos or recorded any of the performances on audio or video and would be interested in sharing, please contact the Webmaster so it can be posted to our site for others to enjoy (we'll be happy to give you photo credit for your items).

This was our very first competition, but we did our best not to let it 'look' that way. Please send us your comments on what we did right, what we did wrong, what you'd recommend, or just your thoughts.
